One month in and Donald Trump is taking a hammer to the government that he hates. He’s got his billionaire pal Elon Musk along for the ride and the rich guy is more than happy to take a literal wrecking ball to one federal agency after another.
You’d be right to suggest nothing as terrible as what’s going on in Washington, DC right now, has ever been seen before in the long and glorious history of the United States of America.
Trump is weird, ignorant and stupid. And he doesn’t take “no” for an answer. That’s the one noticeable thing in the month since this asshole’s inauguration.
Disagree with this wannabe orange-painted king and you’re out. Or at the very least, you’re banished from the inner circle.
Mitch McConnell is insulted by Trump for his “no” votes on the outrageous idiots, Donald wants in his cabinet. McConnell is every bit the shoe dirt that No. 47 is. But is this any way to treat an old – and once – respected -politician who is merely trying to demonstrate to the world, that not all Republicans in Washington, will be a rubber stamp for any and everything that Donald Trump wants.
Oh, the list of weird happenings at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is already a long one. Just as an example, the Associated Press has been banished from Air Force One and the White House press briefing room because the service refuses to go along with Trump’s moronic self-proclaimed renaming of the Gulf of Mexico, to the Gulf of America.
Donald’s solution is to kick the AP aside like a child having a tantrum.
Well, so much for the freedom and independence of the press.
This is Trump’s vision of the presidency. Do as I say or be gone.
“I’m the President, damn it.”
Someone should tell the fool that’s not the way to rule a nation of 334 million people. He’s not acting presidential. This is really happening and what Trump is doing to the reputation of this nation isn’t funny at all.
There is no JOY in Trump World and there never will be.
He won’t allow it, because the only thing he appreciates is obedience and blind loyalty.
The Democrats did not create this monster. America knows who did.
There are already MAGA people who have been damaged by Trump’s actions in office, at this early stage, and in 2026 there will be an adjustment. Until then, what remains are a lot of sad, tired and weak Republican clowns on the Hill who will never reel Trump in, calm his worst instincts, and tell him in full public view.
