Those end of the world disaster movies that are as old as Hollywood itself, will give you a feeling as to how America has fared over the course of the 1st 100 days of a presidency that has destroyed the myth of the United States as the last stalwart defender of freedom and democracy, and has caused America’s closest allies to look askance at this country as if she were infected by some horrible, malignant disease.
That disease is Donald J. Trump, the 47th President of the United States of America. It is a great title but the man is glaringly not up to the job, as he has filled his administration with buffoons, idiots, drunks, racists, homophobes, xenophobes and people who are otherwise, the most disgusting examples of humanity.
Trump’s White House exudes the ugliness of the worst of us, instead of the glory of the best of us.
What else could be expected of a man who actually attempted a coup on January 6th, 2021. He occupies the oval office once again, only because a slim majority of American citizens preferred an intellectually incurious racist, and convicted felon over a well-qualified, highly educated and professional woman who carried no such personal baggage, and nothing even close to the level of depravity on the human side of the equation.
Is there a need for evidence, in this harsh judgment of Trump’s first 100 days? All that is necessary are a few words, as follows in no particular order.
1.) Elon Musk, 2.) Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 3.) Pete Hegseth, 4.) Kash Patel, 5.) Linda McMahon, 6.) Karoline Claire Leavitt, 7.) The 51st State {Canada}, 8.) Greenland, 9. anti-DEI demagoguery, 10.) threats against news organizations, 11.) threats against prestigious centers of higher education, 12.) threats against world renowned museums, 13.) warrant-less ICE raids, 14.) arbitrary revocations of student visas
Yeah, that’s a murderer’s row of some of the things Trump has been busy with in his 1st 100 days.
All that is necessary is to associate the words/names/ideas with the controversy that surrounds them to explain the reason the country is in chaos.
There’s no need for details right here.
The point is made.
There is clear justification in the list above, as for the reason Donald Trump’s poll numbers have tanked, and now he stands all alone as the least appreciated holder of the world’s most powerful office, after the 1st 100 days in the White House.
So many of Trump’s promises have come back to hurt the very same persons that voted for him, in their desire to steer clear of the left-leaning and weak Democratic Party.
Sleepy Joe had to go and the rest of the democrats, including Kamala Harris and her running mate, wanted to turn America into some unrecognizable socialist utopia where men weren’t men, and women weren’t women and all that talk about vicious racism and slavery in the distant past, made little Joey Bob and Mary Ann so sad and depressed, that their studies suffered.
That is what Trump, and his campaign sold, and America bought it.
So be it. The administration in Washington DC right now is garbage and is a disaster and the president’s dismal poll numbers reflect that reality. In this hour, it appears that America is finally waking up to her mistake.
The one bright spot in all of this misery is that Donald Trump is, in fact, a lame duck and cannot run for the presidency, again.
It will take a completely different level of misdeeds and shenanigans for Trump to change the reality that a third term isn’t permissible under the United States Constitution. This democracy-hating clown needs to be shown the door, and it is the American electorate that will do it at the ballot box.
Nothing is more mom and apple pie, than that.
